To be used in the bathroom. I should have made them a bit bigger but ran out of fabric.

Scissor keeper

I picked up this kit for an embroidered "scissor keeper" at the Stitch and Knit Show at Alexandria Palace last month. It turned out really pretty!

Mittens from woolly jumper (norgetröja)

 

I made these woolly mittens from an old Norwegian jumper that I haven't used for 20 years. It was a bit of an improvisation, and I didn't quite get the seem allowance right, therefore they look a bit clumsy.

I am also making a skirt from the rest of the jumper, but that is still under construction.

Handbag with hexagons and piping

I made this handbag from some very old hexagons I got a long time ago. The piping gives a bit of extra definition.

Coffee cosy

This is the "coffee cosy" I knitted for our cafetiere.

Knitting needle case

I made this needle case for all my double pointed knitting needles from a piece of Marimekko faric.

I should really do some useful work (since I'm at work) but find it a lot more fun to try to create a blog.
